Global Investigations & Compliance

Brian has conducted hundreds of internal investigations into alleged misconduct around the world and has represented corporations, boards, and individuals before the DOJ, SEC, OFAC, BIS, the UK Serious Fraud Office, the Hong Kong SFC, and other regulators. As General Counsel of GSK China, he ran the company’s response to a landmark criminal bribery case from the ground in Shanghai, reporting directly to the global CEO in London. He dealt directly with senior Chinese government officials in Mandarin and obtained declinations from the U.S. DOJ and the U.K. SFO in parallel proceedings.
